So, I hate nursing school. I know, you're thinking, really, this is what she wants to do with her life? But seriously, I hate the school part of it. I absolutely love getting clinical time, but the lectures and other stuff is horrible!! Senior year is so much busywork! It's like they purposefully want us to stroke out with all the crap we have due. And, since I now have the lovely last name Chrestman, I am number 4 on the roll. And that totally sucks! I'm so used to being smack dab in the middle, and it just is horrible being at the first. I continually have to do things before everyone else, and have more things due at one time. The past month has been 1 huge blur, just trying to get everything done on time, not really even worrying about how it sounds. On one paper I turned in last week, I looked over the comments, and she put this arrow on 1 part. I looked, and I literally had like 5 words in the sentence, and was starting a whole new thought from the rest of the paragraph, and I just LEFT IT!! (So I obviously didn't read over it again, but I got full points, so no fussing at me.)
Wow, I did read over that again, and that's a lot of complaining. But, I feel that's fine, because this is my blog, and if you don't like it, you definitely don't need to keep reading my blog.
But now I'm on to other subjects.
When it comes to football, I'm of mixed emotions lately.
The Packers have yet to disappoint, and as Clay Matthews was name Defensive Player of the week yesterday, we definitely don't have much to complain about. i can't believe he's had 3 sacks both games of the season. If he keeps this up, we just might make it further this year (although I blame most of last year on the offensive line)! The game against the Bears is Monday night, which will suck for me, since I have a 12 hour shift the next day, but I don't care. Can't miss a division game! It should be good, especially since Nick Collins, Brad Jones, and Mike Neal might all come back for the game. We're both so excited about this season, and can't wait to watch the Vikings game with Favre's ankle the way it is. (I know, it sounds like I'm so bloodthirsty, but I swear just with football!)
Ole Miss is just hard to talk about. Masoli sucks. He was supposed to be this bad-ass that came to save us. Well, he hasn't. We suck worse. And I hate that.
MS State has some potential. But they're definitely not living up to it. Relf and Russell both had several (I can't remember the exact numbers, they were so high!) picks, and so I keep saying they should put the Favre kid in. Now, that's not because his name is Favre (although I'm sure he's had some good coaching), but he definitely can't be much worse than Relf and Russell, and if he is (I really don't think it's possible though) then they need to know so they can get themselves a better quarterback for next year! Also, though, they could use some kids with better hands, because the catching isn't exactly stellar either.
So, in review, my life is definitely more boring than I thought. But, sometimes, it's cathartic to write, so you'll read it if you want!

Autumn...
IT'S FINALLY FALL!!
I'm SO excited. It finally feels like fall, and I can't believe it's so early this year. It's the first week in September, and our backyard has leaves falling and it's been about 65 degrees at night. It feels so amazing, we've just been sitting outside all the time(at least, when I'm not studying or writing a paper!). I love this time of year; it's specially made for football, chili, a great glass of wine, and enjoying life.
So, this weekend was the start of SEC football. It was disappointing in some ways, but amazing in others. MS State did so amazing against Memphis, but Ole Miss was SO disappointing. I'm hoping State will continue to be this awesome. They were so amazing in the first half, then just fell off in the second, and let Jacksonville State beat them, which should never have happened!! But, hopefully this is not how the rest of the year will play out for the Rebs.
This next week, NFL football season kicks off. We are so so so excited at this house!

We've had fantasy football drafts at our house for the past 2 weeks, and it's so great! We love doing this. I do some cooking, the guys come over, and we get ready for football! Today has been so awesome because it feels like fall outside, there's football going on all over my house, and it would be even more amazing if I did have so much homework to do! I'm procrastinating, which is unusual for me, but it's just so hard to focus on a great day like this.

If you can't tell, we are huge Packer fans. We have the schedule up on our fridge, and it feels like we've waited forever!
I hope everyone is as excited as I am, and I'll definitely be posting more about it!
